Air Fryer Diary Entry I: Soulfully Savory Stuffed Lobster Recipe!

Greetings People of Soul and Welcome Back to Soul Mommas,

On this post I’m bringing you a recipe as seen on my Facebook live that I know you will love!

Give this meal about 15-20 minutes of prep time and 8 to 10 minutes of air fryer cook time and you’ll be ready for dinner.

Here’s what you will need for this delicious Soulfully Savory Stuffed Lobster:

1 lobster tail

1/2-3/4 lb lump crab (depending on if you want to stuff your shell)

1 1/2 tablespoon mayo

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Paul Prudhomme’s Seafood Magic

2 teaspoons Accent

1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon of Tony Chachere’s Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes

Olive Oil Pam Spray

spoon

Air fryer of course

bowls

kitchen sheers

Let’s Get Cooking!

1. Prepare Lobster: clean lobsters in cool water, using kitchen sheers, cut the shell down the middle. Use the handle side of your spoon to separate the lobster’s meat from the shell.

2. In a bowl, melt butter in the microwave about 10-15 seconds. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Paul Prudhomme’s Seafood Magic, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Accent to your butter. Spoon melted butter unto the meat of your lobster. Yes honey it’s getting real 🙂 Feel free to add more or less seasoning to the top of your lobster. Sit this to the side while you prepare your stuffing but keep it cool, it’s seafood.

3. To prepare your stuffing: In a bowl add your 1/2 pound of lump crab, 1 1/2 tablespoons of mayo, 1/2 teaspoon Paul Prudomme’s Seafood Magic, 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of Accent, 1/2 teaspoon Tony Chachere’s seasoning. Give no more than 4 stirs. You do not want your lump crab to peel apart! Keep it lumpy honey!

4. It’s time to Air Fry: Go ahead and get that air fryer nice and hot by running it 3 min on 390 degrees. Once your air fryer is heated, place your lobsters inside the fryer without the stuffing, give it a light spray with your Pam Spray and air fry your lobsters for 2 minutes. Now remember, your air fryer might be a little different from mine so make sure you heat more a less depending on how your lobster tail is looking during the cook time.

5. After your lobsters are heated in the air fryer, take your prepared lump crab stuffing and carefully place it on top of your lobster. Sprinkle the top with a 1/2 teaspoon of Paul’s Seafood Magic. You can also spoon some of your stuffing inside the lobster’s shell. Longer cook time( about 2 additional minutes) may apply. Place your lobsters back inside the air fryer, give it a spray of Pam Olive Oil and airfry for 6 minutes on 390 degrees. Halfway through cook time, check your lobster tales and stuffing. You want to get it to have a medium brown baked look.

6. Once your air fryer has completed the cooking process, remove your lobsters from the fryer and plate. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of parsley flakes on your lobster and enjoy. Keep in mind with any of the seasonings mentioned you should use your discretion on how much you’d like to use. These are estimated measurements based on my live recording of this demonstration. This dish came out delicious!
