Air Fryer Diary Entry II: Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon Recipe!

Greetings People of Soul and Welcome Back to Soul Mommas!

On this post, I’m bringing you another recipe as seen on my Facebook live that I know will bring flavor to your soul!

Give this meal about 15 minutes of prep time, not counting the time you will marinate your salmon, 8 to 10 minutes of air fryer cook time and you’ll be ready for dinner.

Here’s what you will need for this simple yet delicious Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon:

2-3 salmon filets

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1/4 cups honey

1 lemon

2 teaspoons Chef Paul Prudhomme Salmon Magic (You can actually make salmon taste amazing with this product alone!)

1/2 teaspoons sriracha sauce

2 teaspoons Worcester Sauce

1/2 teaspoons (1/2 teaspoons for marinade) red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoons ( 1 tablespoons for marinade) soy sauce (liquid amino can be used in place of soy sauce)

1/2 teaspoons Accent Flavor Enhancer Seasoning

1/8 cups honey Dijon mustard

1/8 cups brown sugar

1/2 tsp parsley flakes

Let’s Marinate!

One hour before you begin cooking place 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 teaspoons of Worcester sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of Accent Seasoning and 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Give your ingredients a few stirs and drop your cleaned salmon into the mixture to marinate. Make sure the marinade gets all over the salmon evenly. Cover and keep this cool until cook time.

Let’s Get Cooking!

  1. To prepare your glaze: We’ll start by making the honey garlic glaze that will be the main source of flavor for this meal. In a bowl, combine 1/8 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce, 1/8 a cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of sriracha, 1/8 cup of honey Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of  red pepper flakes, and squeeze a half of a lemon’s juice. Give this mixture a few stirs until all the ingredients are blended well.

2. Warm up your air fryer by running it 3 minutes on Air Fryer mode. Remove your salmon filets from your bowl of marinade and sprinkle about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Chef Prudhomme Salmon Magic on each filet. Spoon the glaze created in step one, over each filet. Make sure to flavor up both sides of your salmon for the best results.

3. It’s time to Air Fry: Place the glazed salmon filets in your warmed up air fryer evenly. Place thinly sliced lemon right on top and begin air frying on 390 degrees for 10 minutes. Now remember, your air fryer might be a little different from mine so make sure you heat more a less depending on how your salmon filet is looking during the cook time.

4. Once your air fryer has completed the cooking process, remove your salmon from the fryer and plate. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of parsley flakes on your salmon and enjoy. Keep in mind with any of the seasonings or sauces mentioned you should use your discretion on how much you’d like to use. These are estimated measurements based on my live recording of this demonstration. This dish came out delicious!IMG_8452
